4.0 out of 5 stars very informative 30 Mar. 2012

As a person fairly new to emergency food storage, I found this an informative read. I was also attracted to the fact that the author doesn't come off as a alarmist.

This book was well organized, and contained a lot of information - it all might be available on the internet, but why spend the time searching when it is here?

1.0 out of 5 stars Lacking in so many ways... 26 Oct. 2012

Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This book is more of an argument for why we should be prepared, with a few ideas mixed in. it "discusses" the idea of growing sprouts to eat, then doesn't even suggest a type of sprout to grow. almost no useful info at all, and the first 10 chapters just tell you all of the crazy emotional reasons to prepare. I am of a prepper mindset mostly because my grandparents lived through the great Depression, and this book offered NO new ideas or useful information. Glad i didn't pay for it...
2.0 out of 5 stars Did not like 10 Jun. 2014

I did not like this book because it goes into why we need to store food way too much, if we bought the book chances are that we already know why we should store food
