About the Author
The UK and Ireland edition was adapted from the highly respected US edition by a team of over 50 specialists in prehospital care in association with the UK's College of Paramedics. The manuscript was also reviewed by over 150 other UK and Irish prehospital experts before it went to press. No book project of this scale had ever been attempted by the prehospital community previous to this and the result is book of which they are justifiably proud.
