My mother bought me this book when I was 5. It kept all the children in my family amused for many long winters. It shows a step-by-step process of how to make ink prints of you fingers and thumbs into all sorts of animals, people and characters. You don't need to be able to read any instructions. It shows you how 2 thumbprints on top of each other with a few simple lines drawn in becomes a frog or if you turn them side ways and add one more you can make an owl or a bug. Very easy and lots of fun!

I was expecting the images inside to be in different colours, as the cover looked quite colourful. But when I got the book, I realised that it was all in one colour - orange. Very disappointing.

a great book for kids and parents who want to draw with kids. uber-easy to get top results and the associated burst of pride. would recommend to all. maybe best to do mum or dad's thumbprints - the ink is difficult to get off!!!
