Most dance CD's are just a get-together of similar dance tunes appropriate only if you are poised to dance. ELIXIRIUM on the other hand offers a greater variety of BPMs and rythms creating a gradual move towards more and more upbeat songs that takes the listener with it. The individual tracks are diverse and excellent: the Mellow-House "Ladies and Gentlemen", the Pop-House "Only to be with you", the slightly darker "Do You Love Me?", the Jazzy "Jar-Trip", the Trancey "Morning Drums" and the Pseudo-Latin "Smart". In addition they all bleng together so well that the CD feels like a single composition that suceeds in creating an ambience that conveys the carefree, laid-back and fun vibes of a Mediterranean vacation. Overall a great CD to listen to and to dance to - a must Buy!
