We borrowed this book from the local library and then had to buy it, as it is so good. It's become a firm favourite of my four year old, and my eight year old is secretly keen on it too! The illustrations are great, and the writing is fantastic. It's very engaging for kids, but also not annoying to read again and again (always a plus point for parents!). The story is well-thought out and there are some great quirky bits. My son's reception teacher is now going to use it as the basis of a super-hero project in class...
