Sir Adrian Boult is an amazing interpreter of Elgar. The whole CD is amazing but the Pomp and Circumstance Marches steal the show here. It is seldom that a perfect performance and a perfect standard of recording come together but it happens here. Listen in particular to the fourth march and no other recording will ever sound the same again. This is truly something really special to listen to. A must for any collector.

I'm still not convinced with the quality of digital downloads from stores like Amazon and iTunes so remain on the look out for good CDs, this does not disappoint- a really wonderful and crisp recording, offered here at amazon for a fantastic price. Thumbs up.

stirring music,I've listened to the CD anumber of times now and each time seem to discover an instrumental, or some other facet of the music, that went unnoticed before. I strongly recommend, buy.
