Format: Audio CD
Well, I feel I must be the first to make a review of this little gem of an album as I literally stumbled across it, and haven't stopped playing it yet. That was about a week ago. I came across Bruce's name in a Country search engine and was intrigued enough to sample a couple of his tunes and was impressed enough to make a purchase. I feel some strange guiding hand may have had lead me to this album, because not only is it an early contender for album of the year (easily), but lyrically Bruce seems to have been a fly on the wall for the best part of my adult life. Wow. Every Once In A While and All Over But The Crying particularly made me think back to situations where I could have sunk to the bottom of a whiskey bottle. Musically you really have to experience the album yourself. Words do not do this level of songwriting justice. BUT IT! BUY IT! Bruce, Thanks for making my year!
