Review

Praise for Paullina Simons Tully 'Pick up this book and prepare to have your emotions wrung so completely you'll be sobbing your heart out one minute and laughing through your tears the next! Read it and weep -- literally' Company Tatiana and Alexander 'This has everything a romance glutton could wish for: a bold, talented and dashing hero, a heart-stopping love affair ! It also has -- thank goodness -- a welcome sense of humour and discernable characters rather than ciphers.' Victoria Moore, Daily Mail

Product Description

A compelling, heartrending tale of a woman in danger and the man who's desperate to find her, from the internationally bestselling author of TULLY and ROAD TO PARADISE A heavily pregnant young woman is leaving the shopping mall to head home on a horribly hot day in Texas. Her normal life of shopping, husband, children, with the extra excitement of the imminent baby, stretches before her. And then she is bundled into a car and kidnapped by a desperate young man. What does he want? Where are they going? In scenes that alternate between the desperate husband, pursuing by car and helicopter with an alarmingly laid-back FBI man, who may or may not be as good as he thinks he is at rescuing hostages, and the more and more threatened wife, Eleven Hours is a tour de force of storytelling power.

5.0 out of 5 stars A desperate race from the front cover to the back., 9 April 2002
By A Customer
Eleven hours is a book of desperation, survival, love and instincts. I feel that it has been well written and is a real heart renching demonstration of when your instinct kick into place. It is very tempting to just give in and turn to the back of the novel and see what happens. A really good book with a great theme and a great portrayel of emotions and characters to make that bit more special

5.0 out of 5 stars a thrilling and throughly enjoyable read!, 13 Nov 2000
By A Customer
this is the first book by Paullina Simons that I have read, and it won't be my last. This is one of those books that you read at top speed because you are desperate to know what happens next, and when you finally finish it, you're left breathless. Simons is an excellent writer, and I particularly enjoyed the way she tells the story from two viewpoints, that of Didi, the kidnapped woman, and also that of her husband and the police who are trying to find her. It gives the book an almost movie-like feel, and cranks up the tension. I think this book would benefit from being filmed; but, nevertheless, it is a thrilling read (take note anybody who's read Tully, which I have just started - Eleven Hours is completely different).

I loved this book, really felt like I knew Didi, could really picture everything, I enjoyed this book that much I read it in 2 days. Every time I put this book down had to pick it up again because of the suspense of finding out what would happen next.
I will never forget this story, 12/10, looking forward to reading more of Paullina Simons books.
