Ive had two of these - one is ok and one is useless. The pivot is plastic on plastic and is quite loose so it will either grip just enough or not at all. Be careful if you pull the camera wire as I have on mine a couple of times and the pivot slips open letting the camera fall down the back of the tv.

Well it does hold the camera on the TV, but only if you are very gentle. It falls off quite easily, better than nothing I suppose.

Picked this up for some very low price, think it was £2-£3 or something silly like that and wasn't expecting too much in quality but thought worth a punt for a couple of quid. Happy to say that it turned up and was actually a nice little item, well designed and made to a good standard. The stand has lots of different positions that you can adjust depending on where you are fitting it and to what sort of tv. It is now mounted to the top of my flatscreen tv and had no problems with it ever falling off or anything like that. Nice to have it properly mounted rather than what we used to do where we would have to unpack it out of the storage box every time we wanted to play a PS3 move game and then pack it all up again after play had finished. Used to be a messy affair with wires everywhere and trying to get the camera set up just right but now with this stand those days are gone! Recommended!

The finishing isn't totally there, the seam line in the moulding on the one that I got was a little rough in one place that I took off with a bit of sandpaper as it was a little sharp. Now having said that it gets the camera put in and it sits on a tv. It's very sturdy, it's black to match the tv surround and feels very strong so in all fairness why would you need to pay the Sony price, you don't. This bit of kit is totally up to the job. A very worthwhile purchase. Came within the dispatch time, 3 days. Just buy it if you're looking for one, don't bother shopping about.

Bought it because of the attractive price tag and several reviews claiming that it manages to fix the camera quite well ! And that's TRUE ! Yet, I have given only 4 out of 5 stars because of the quality of material, but that's not a surprise having in mind that it's a generic product. My TV set is TOSHIBA Slim LSD not more than 20 mm in width & the camera is well adjusted. By the way, one has to push a little bit more when placing the Move into the holder of the stand as the space is not enough but I suppose the manufacturer has intentionally built it that way.

The clip is not a spring clip, but a resistance clip that fixes the camera in position. It does not some much clamp the camera to the television as provide a stable platfrom for the camera. The clip rests of the top of the TV with the rear of the clip supporting the rear weight of the camera.

As long as the supporting arm hinge is a stiff hinge the camera will remain in place.

I would suggest that you don't mess around with the hinge/arm much as working it loose would be a bad idea.

...it does not have springs, so it can somewhat easily fall off. That being said, it definitely helps the camera stay on top of the screen.

Clips the camera well but the stand doest not sit on my monitor well. May require extra adhesive material to place it in place.
