From start to finish, this album gives me much pleasure on an almost daily basis.
If I need to start the day feeling uplifted, energized, amused or even relaxed, I can chose many of the tracks and have my mood tended to by this (somewhat) eclectic mix of electronic sounds. The album has been compiled cleverly and each track merges into the next seamlessly. You will all recognise a few of the tracks and I'm sure the tracks which are new to you will become favourites.
I will let you decide which tracks work for you best, as we all know each person's musical tastes vary tremendously. But mark my words, if you enjoy dancey beats and relaxing tunes, this album will not disappoint you! I hope you agree!
Thank you for reading my review, I would love to hear your opinions on this album.

A reasonable 2CD survey of popular mid-1990s dance music which, by and large, you'd find it difficult to dance to. Playing its 33 songs brings forth a jumble of emotions. I am impressed, but unsurprised by the good quality of the contributions from a number of the big acts here, including: Fatboy Slim, Leftfield, Orbital, The Chemical Brothers, and Underworld. But I find my mood darkening whenever I hear the generic big-beat of Apollo 440, Fluke, and Propellerheads. Their crude attempts to jump on the zeitgeist haven't aged well. Ironically, listening to the handful of voguish and soporific chill-out and trip-hop tracks - by the likes of Everything But The Girl, Robert Miles, and Sneaker Pimps, only provokes irritability. I didn't like their formulaic efforts back in the day - and the passage of time hasn't altered my viewpoint one iota. Fortunately, my rediscovery of Sabres Of Paradise's 'Wilmot', and Goldie Presents Metalheadz 'Inner City Life', provides some pleasant relief. Their dub and drum-and-bass tunes have far more resonance for me than any of the many UK Top 10 hits that feature here such as 'Ain't Talkin' `Bout Dub', 'Breathe', 'Children', or even 'Encore Une Fois'.

I HEARD "HIDDEN BEINGS " ON MUSIC CHOICE CABLE MUSIC STATION AND LOOKED EVERYWHERE FOR AN MP3 DOWNLOAD AND ENDED UP HAVING TO BUY THIS CD FOR THE ONE SONG. THERE IS A COUPLE OTHER GOOD ONES ON IT TOO. I UPLOADED A FEW GOOD TUNES FROM THIS CD TO GROOVESHARK SO YOU CAN LISTEN TO THE ENTIRE TRACKS THERE.

Bought this in Tampa, and spun grooves solid. Take this to the dance floor if your bar is inhabited by cyborgs.

Absolutely excelent, a must have for anyone into Electronica 14 April 1999
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
Almost every single track on this dual album is one of those songs that make electronica and techno what we recognise it as today. I bought it in France, and it has become one of my most listened to albums to date. I would call this an absolute must have for anyone that wants more exposure to the genre, or already loves it.
