NHL 99 is brilliant, if you are like me and don't know much about hockey it doesn't matter. It is really easy to get the hang of aswell. You can make your own hockey players up and even make yourself. The graphics are really good and its really fun knocking your opponent over, they even sometimes smash through the arena glass.

For the price it is worth it, even if the teams are a bit out of date. It is worth getting.

NHL 99 is the best affordable Ice Hockey game today. The sweet visuals combined with the typical EA-Sports feeling deliver an intense playing experience. With its original NHL license and the possibillity of creating own players it its a lot of fun playing that game. Another major advantage of that game is its very good artificial intelligence that challenges the player every time he fights for the Stanley Cup. The moderate hardware requirements and the low price make this masterpiece an insiders' tip for every sports gamer.
