Product Description

Manufacturer's Description

Style and attitude are over the top in NFL Street, the newest title from EA Sports Big. Take your skills to the streets where how you score is just as important as the points on the board and every player has to show what he's got on both sides of the ball. No helmets. No referees. No limits. Assemble your team from hundreds of NFL stars and legends, or create your own players and show your stylin' moves against the best players in the world. How about Ray Lewis lining up as quarterback on a California beach, or Barry Sanders dropping into pass coverage on an Atlanta rooftop? The endless possibilities and the in-your-face football action will keep you coming back for more in NFL Street.

Pretty good 4 Sep 2004

This game is good, but a little hard to get to grips with as the controls in the booklet are very limited. However once you figure them out there is loads of fun to be had, although the challenges get quite repetitive after a while. all in all a good game.

Learning curve 24 Mar 2004
I bought this game about a week ago now and after my first few hours with it I was ready to get my money back!
However, I kept plugging away and now this is the only game you'll find me playing on my GameCube! The graphics are awesome, the bravado chit-chat is hilarious and the gameplay superb - once you get to grips with it.

My initial gripe was based on the defence. It was impossible to stop the opposition rushing for a TD, but now with practice it is a much better experience. The development cycle is excellent with short bursts of training and then the chance to fight it out with the big teams. The unlockable side of the game is OK, with extra leagues, new teams and new fields - it feels a little repetitive so far, but then I'm still early on in the game.

The 7-a-side gameplay is awesome, and the style moves and dodges and swerves you can perform are all easily at your fingertips so go get dem style points. The GameBreaker aspect of the game is well executed, although favours the more extravagant player.

I've yet to try the multiplay of this game since I only have the one controller, although I expect it will prove as exciting as the rest of the game.

Two thumbs up for NFL Street.
