We are new Wii users and I bought this game specifically for my 5.5 year old daughter. I wanted a game that would be easy for her to use independently and give her a chance to get more confident using the Wii remote.

The game is great, easy to use and very appealing. She thinks the pets are wonderful and there are loads of fun things to do with them - explore the environment, play simple games to earn more 'kibble coins', buy toys and accessories in the shop, stroke and feed them; and best of all take them to the salon to pimp them (we all loved this bit!).

My only criticism is that for a game aimed at 3+ years there is a lot of reading that you need to do initially. All the instructions are written on screen, in quite a small font. Most average 6 year olds would still need some help reading the instructions. I think it's a shame that there is no audio option for non-readers though, surely it wouldn't be hard to build that in? This is the only reason I've given 4 stars rather than 5.

However, once you've played it with them a couple of times and got them started; the game and controls are quite intuitive. I think non-readers will quickly learn to ignore and close the written instructions if there is noone handy to help them, and carry on playing anyway (you can do whatever you like at any time so there is no actual *need* to follow the instructions). There are also visual cues for many of the instructions which they quickly learn to pick up (on screen arrows or icons to click on).

Another plus of this game is that it's reasonably entertaining for an adult watching/helping too and there is lots to chat about so it encourages interaction rather than your child losing themselves in the game.

I bought this for my 7 year old daughter and I can't get her off it. She loves collecting the pets, dressing them up and playing games with them. Its really easy to control so is great for a child; no worries about them getting frustrated. It keeps their interest by constantly adding new pets, clothes, games and worlds to explore. Maybe actually more fun than the real thing as the pets are "alive". In my opinion all girls aged 4-8 will love it.

I bought this game for my 4 (nearly 5!) old daughter. She is a big LPS fan! This is the first wii game which she can play by herself. Once we explained the game, she found it very easy to follow and only needed a bit of help from us. More and more pets travel on the train to come and visit your world! You collect coins (very easy!), buy pets, dress them up and buy LPS toys and accessories for them. The game is sooo cute. Your pets play on the swings, with balls, on slides etc. She is having lots of fun playing with this and I would recommend this game for any LPS fan!

I wanted to buy a wii game for my daughter age 5, nearly 6. I chose this one as it had some good reviews on Amazon. I definately made the right choice! She thoroughly enjoys the game and only needs occasional help with reading instructions. If a child cannot read or get help straight away, this doesn't halt the game. There are plenty of options to move onto something else. The game involves adopting pets, moving them around an imaginary world, playing games, unlocking new areas/games and collecting money along the way. I would recomend this for boys and girls from age 5 - 9.

My little girl is 7 years old and this game is absolutely 100% right for her:) On top of which, the music's not too annoying and some of the games are actually a challenge for adults on "hard" so there's a bit of fun for us too when she asks us to join in.

We gave this to our five year old for Christmas. She has a collection of Littlest Pet Shop figures and is nuts about cute animals.

This game is colourful and simple to play for a child of this age but it's a shame that the tasks that are set are not spoken but need to be read. New pets appear on a regular basis which keeps the interest level up and there are plenty of mini-games.

Recommended for 5-6 year olds, older children will get quickly bored.

My 5 year old daughter has always liked watching older brother playing on the Wii, but has never found a game she could play with him...until this one. She can do all the mini games, and loves the cute characters. Funny enough, he loves it too - though wouldn't admit it to his friends at school!

My 6 year old daughter got this for Xmas.

She loves it and plays it by herself for hours on end.
