My 12 year old son recently bought this game and has been glued to it ever since, the following is typed by him and is his review:

There are many interesting and fun features combining both real life teams and street footballers with characters that you and your friends can create. Its many features include; the ability to play online, the world tour game mode, the arena and much much more. The game allows you to play as your created team (as well as all teams from the premier league, mls, french ligue 1, la liga and many more) and level up your players abilities to make them much more capable of taking on bigger teams. Whilst playing matches you have many choices of match types leading to hours on end of fun. Overall this is an excellent game for children and adults of all ages and I would definately recommend this game.

I've sometimes found FIFA Street games to be a mixed bag, but the promise of varying game modes making the game play less repetitive, I thought I'd give this one a go, and overall I'm glad I did.

The same FIFA street game play is there, the game is heavily focused on using tricks to get round players and favours the attacking team as you'd expect. It flows quickly and the (by default) sort games never feel like they drag. The 'World Tour' mode is nicely set out and varys the type of game that you play by tournament/event between 2v2, elimination, 5v5, futsol etc. The difficulty increases steadily and the game offers enough in game 'carrots' to get you to try and improve, or just do it one level higher.

The team you have is fully customisable, appearances, names, etc, although typing using the normal xbox controller is its usual drag.

Graphically, it's maybe a little cartoony, but given the OTT nature of the moves the players do this feels right. There's a decent selection of places to play with distinct looks. I can only imagine the numbers of balls I've lost into a canal in Venice!

Sound wise, it's quite basic, music plays instrumentally through the games, but the track listing is limited. You can get bored of hearing the quite samey shouts as the game goes on too. Varying the voice over by which country you're playing in was nice too.

It can sometimes, particularly in tournaments when playing little known/made up players feel like you're playing the same game over and over, which obviously feels a little repetitive and can detract from the fun. But in fairness that's the nature of a football game!

Once you've learnt a few tricks and can do some impressive looking stuff on screen, FIFA Street is a fun game, maybe a little lightweight. But if you're looking for a game you can pick up and have a bit of fun with, this could be it.

Warning: This game is annoyingly addictive!

The games are exciting, and very quick paced - some things which are perhaps not the case in its big brother - FIFA 12. Graphics are pretty good; certainly an improvement on the game's predecessors. The 'career mode' is also decent in that you can create your own player modelled on your own image, though it is certainly not perfect, and to some, may become a little repetitive after a while.

For people not familiar with the series, this is a good one to get. The tricks and skills are relatively straightforward - more complex tricks obviously require greater levels of gaming ability. The result is some truly stunning skills and some outrageous goals, as evidenced by people's FIFA Street montages on YouTube. A decent improvement.

I got the game early through the EA sports season ticket and I couldn't wait to download the game!

It was well worth the wait for the download to finish and I immediately began on 'World Tour'. The graphics are sensational and the game play gives a real feel that EA tried to create the game so it reflected back to the play in the original FIFA Street.

All the game modes are great to play, especially 'Last Man Standing'. The Custom Game is also a nice touch on the game as the user can customized everything from amount of players to the amount of air in the ball.

Any flaws in the game that I have noticed are a couple of times when players trip up over their own feet, but other than that I would highly recommend this game to any football fan.

I bought this for my nephew's birthday as despite having the latest Fifa games including the newly released 15 he didn't have this one and had been wanting it for the couple of years it's been out. I can't personally say the game is any good as I'm simply not interested in football but my nephew is over the moon with the game and rates it 5 stars when I asked him. He said the graphics are really good although obviously a couple of years old now so not as good as the latest Fifa 15 for example but he loves the street football moves and enjoys playing this very much in-between his 15 game. So a thumbs up from my nephew.

This is a game that I play with my 11 year old and who enjoyed it immensely at the beginning. It is an immersive game and taking time to learn the different tricks and practicing until they are second nature takes a lot of time and focus. It is also important to get the settings right on the game as the difference between bronze level and gold is huge.

The Pro's

Like the different game modes - interesting and varied and keeps you coming back for more. Definitely one there for everyone.
Like the growth model in the game - being able to customise each team player allows for a team to be balanced or all the same.
Like the variety of kits and choices at the start of the game, enough to keep your interest without being overwhelming.

The Con's

It can become frustrating when you have to continue to beat several team in a row on the same type of game. The differences between 5 and 6 a side are not huge enough to maintain interest there.
The background noises are repetitive and often distract rather than adding to the gameplay.
The levels increase quickly and teams suddenly can become superhero's. Whilst this can be rewarding, the differences between the medals in the game is huge.

I think it is an interesting niche football title, I don't really see it having huge interest for anyone who doesn't invest in either street game titles or a football one. I am not sure it will appeal to everyone as the gameplay is quite different from the mainstream FIFA titles. I think this is one that you will have to want to play to really enjoy it.
