Firstly, this is already on first play superior to the last couple of Fifa's and best yet in terms of player control, the shots, dribbling and passing seem much more accurate. I don't know anyone that does not use the classic controller with Fifa, it just doesn't feel natural to me, that could be because I have been playing the PS2 and PS3 fifa's for years and a control just feels much more controlled with the game with the Wii classic style controller too. I have 1 Nintendo Wii Classic Controller (Wii), 2 Nyko Wired Kama and Wing Controller Pack (Wii) and 1 Snakebyte Wii Retro Controller - Black (Wii) and find them all similar but the Nyko and Snakebyte ones are a bit bigger so more suitable for myself and adult friends.

Ok back to Fifa, the teams available although a bit limited around the world are full of the players you would expect to be in them and in most cases look pretty accurate on close up shots. I love the option of transfers being available and updated these manually today for the last transfer window, which took some time clicking through trying to find all the random European and World clubs in the system, although most were there, they were not so easy to find always. I could have used the transfer update system apart from the fact my Wii is too far away from the wireless router to get an internet connection, which is a bit annoying.

ON THE WHOLE IT IS A GOOD GAME, JUST THE FOULING SYSTEM NEEDS SORTING

Easy to start playing, but you can develop more skills as you progress. There is a wide range of leagues and tournaments to play, with plenty of English and worldwide teams to choose. There is also street football, if you fancy something different, and you can practice taking penalties, free kicks, etc.
The two-player games are fun too, with very competitive matches!
We love it!

FIFA 11. The gameplay is much better than that of FIFA 10 as they have got rid of the easy penalty, freekick, corner system and its harder to score, the graphics are basically the same and the Battle For Glory mode is too, however there is a new street mode which is the highlight of this game its 5v5 football and is really good and you can now create your own players like you do on be a pro on the x360/ps3 version, but the mode is called "From streets to stadiums" and you create a player who plays street football and works his way up to playing for a club. This is a vast improvement over FIFA 10 but my only gripe is they have not expanded Battle For Glory mode at all apart from a few new game boosters. If you liked FIFA 10 you will love this, If you hated FIFA 10 give it a shot because its less arcade style than last year.

OK, there are 33 reviews already describing that this is a good football game & better than FIFA10.
So I add to this the observation that the challenges in the much-lauded Street to Stadium section are ridiculous.
The idea of boosting your reputation in order to get interest from bigger clubs is very clever, but the criteria are ridiculous.
I spent my second season with Preston NE, where I scored two goals a game, including a hat-trick in the cup final.
In the real world, an FA Cup hat-trick following a successful season would create a queue of Premiership managers. Yet I received no kudos for this feat and nor did I achieve "5 passes via backheels".
Had I spent the cup final performing backheeled passes I would have gained 4 Fame points: instead I wasted my time scoring a match-winning hat-trick.
Having a game, which is trying to be realistic, yet is set in some bizarre alternate reality, is poor.
And playing as a striker can be a bit boring as you wait for your clumsy team-mates to get the ball up to you.
Watching THE COMPUTER playing the game, badly, as your team mates simply watch oponents waft through their space is very annoying.
Too late in the season now: avoid.
Fortunately the game also lacks lineswomen (or indeed any women at all) for Andy Gray to be rude about.
