The control system is pretty intuitive, and the action is fast paced without getting too frantic to know what's going on. There are some nice touches like a decent combat system, the occasional sub-game to break up the action, some very cool weapon-disarms which you can view in slow motion from multiple angles, and lots of slow-mo diving and shooting - John Woo-style. The plot is also quite good and the voice acting is of a high standard, but the story telling doesn't get in the way of the action too much.
On the down side the graphics aren't anything to write home about, some sections (especially when you have to control his dog) are a bit irritating, and some levels start to drag, especially the ones where you're limited to hand-to-hand fighting.
A decent action game in all, which should keep you busy until True Crime comes out anyway.
