Where would we be without cute platform games and their bizarre little heroes? Many grown-ups say they're too old for such fripperies--until they play them. Croc is a straight-down-the-line 3D platform adventure, set in a multicoloured world of manic monsters and mayhem, which sets just the right level of challenge to welcome youngsters and task the oldsters alike. Your job, as baby crocodile Croc, is to rescue the Gobbos--fluffy (of course) little creatures who have all been taken hostage by the nasty Baron Dante. The game moves though a variety of worlds, level by level, pitting you against a series of boss characters. The graphics depicting the environments and the various bad guys are lovely, managing to conjure up just the right atmosphere, drawing you further into the game. The various puzzles (although that might be too strong a word) along the way keep the player occupied, as do the motley collection of Dante's cronies.
If your penchant is for irritatingly difficult epics such as Tomb Raider, then Croc will probably leave you cold. But for the casual gamer, or the pre-teen PlayStation fiend, Croc is a godsend: a delightful, fun game with just enough bite to keep you coming back for more. --David Bailey

I have had this game since it first came out, and am nearly 15 now, and still love it! I have almost finished the game a third time now, but still enjoy playing it. Croc is a very cute little crocodile, and the gobbos are even more gorgeous. A great game for adults and kids alike, the graphics are good, and it's very original!

croc is an adorable crocadile adopted by these things called gobbos. life is good for a while untill this massive evil guy called baron dante comes along and spoils the fun,capturing everybody.croc, being the only one saved, has to rescue these gobbos by going through lava, water, ice, and finnaly, the barons own castle. brilliant 3d affects and mind-blowing secret levels, it even has its own secret island! 3 out of 5,frustratingly adorable?!if i could, id give this game 6 out of 5!!!

This is an adorable 3D Mario-style game: progress through increasingly difficult worlds while bashing open blocks, collecting crystals and knocking down the baddies. Young Croc must brave lava, sand and snow worlds armed with only a swinging tail and a dapper backpack. As I'm probably not as nimble as some younger players, I found the difficulty (and therefore frustration) level quite high early on in the game- depending on your patience, you might lose interest in this game without finishing it. That said, the sacchrine, fun sound bites ('Ka-plouey!') and attractive price make this a very amusing and worthwhile game to check out.

Croc PS1 Game
I remember this game from when I was really small and I thought I had to get it for the nostalgia! Very good!

Sure he's adorable but is it worth it?
Croc is one of the cutest playstaion charcters yet but the game controls are really hard! Most sound effects are cute like the little words he says when he jumps etc. Read more

One of my favourite games...
A really fun game. There are over 50 levels on this game, and you never get bored of this one. Quite challenging, but a very fun game. Read more
