EA SPORTS Cricket 2002--PC will have all the great features and playability of the PlayStation 2 game and will definitely be the definitive Cricket PC game of all time!

As you would expect we have carried across the improvements in all areas of the product. Detail in stadiums, players, player faces, ball physics, team AI, pitch detail, pitch physics and player options have all seen major improvements.

All 10 international teams and 2 minnow nation teams are included, as well as bonus all time squads for the major nations. Test matches as well as One-day Internationals will also be included for this game. So for the first time all teams will have both white and colour kits. Other new game options will include World Championship, World Series, Sharjah Trophy, Practice Nets, Exhibition match and Knockout Tournaments.

Our new AI system will have opposing teams playing as they do in real life, given that team statistics and tactics will be simulated more accurately than ever before.

For the Cricketing buff there will be no end to the detail. A large variety of statistical graphs will be available including run rate, wagon wheel graphs, as well as a huge amount of statistical data on every player that will track over the course of a tournament. The game will revolve around a full TV style presentation including a full action replay mode, third umpire, animated ducks, TV style overlays, field position editor and much more. The field position editor will allow for auto or manual fielding.

Over 22 stadia will be modeled for the game from all over the world, including Lords in England, Calcutta, Melbourne, Auckland, Cape Town, Barbados and Lahore. The detail in the stadia is amazing. Stand up crowds and little details such as the telegraph poles in the background all add to an authentic gaming experience.

EA SPORTS Cricket 2002--PC will truly be a hallmark game, not only for Cricket, but also for all sport simulations.

The original cricket 2002 was infact over-priced for what it is. But this however is well worth the money. The game as stated in previous reviews is a simulation style. And their are a couple of bugs here and there but nothing major. The graphics with some tweaking are brilliant, extremely sharp and detailed. Yet its advised you tweak if your computer can deal with it.
There are improvements for the game which you can download, a whole web site infact dedicated to the Cricket 2002 game. (search yahoo, cricket2002.tk). For the money this game will fill some time before the 2004 version is released in March. My advice get this game!

Cricket 2002 is a great game with lots of different teams and players.
When you go to tournement mode you can chose from five different tournements to play there is: World cup, World series, test match and Sharjah tournement. Whan you win tournements you can win new teams, most of them are all time teams which is the teams best players throughout there history.
There is also a choice of exhibition match where you get to chose from a five day test match to a one day 10 overs match.

The graphics on this game are wonderfull apart from when the players have only one arm but that doesn't spoile it, it still gives you an immense amount of detail from the croud to the umpire.
Overall this game is a wonderfull game which I would highly recommend to any one of any age.

where do i start???
well, the entrance sceen is pretty god, and menu is easy to work out, and no problems there. To start i tried a normal exibition match. well, it was worse than i could ever of thought. U get a good batsmen in, and soon pick up a few runs, then, u realise that tif u dnt hit the ball 100% perfect, you are out, no question. also, after a long time trying to succeed i got a little better, but then found, batsmen sumtimes refuse to play shots, quite often infact, and in a limited match, that can b very annoying
bowling: in any tournement i do, the keys, for sum unknown reason will change as soon as u go into the menu u cant choose the batsmen that u want in a one day, u have the choice of changing, but the buttons are all different, u can only use the 1st few who are on ur list, who are all batsmen, not proper bolwers.
and this is only the start, to anyone looking to buy this, i tell u not to, spend your money on a proper bat and ball, invite a few mates round for a game, alot better than this.
but, if ur looking for game play, try cricket 96, loads better than this one....
