It's an excellent blend of CCG and RTS with all the latest technology. Animations and sounds are top-notch and the strategy element is infinitely greater than any RTS curently on the market. It takes a different viewpoint when playing that requires you to think outside of the (regular RTS) box!

The game is fun.
Even if it's not too different from other RTS, it is much more enjoyable than anything I've played recently. I actually don't know why...
The only downside for me - you get new cards for BF points...and those cost real money as trading them for anything else is virtually impossible. So getting a bigger collection is expensive.
However, I'm playing with just what I have from the original package, and the deck is definitely strong enough as you can get upgrades for playing (even for cards that you do not have yet :))

This game has such amazing graphics, the game play is unique and very well done, there is no resource gathering or base building for units, but you can build defence turrets. The lack of base building is not an issue as there is so much more to think about to complete your mission. The amount of different cards that are available is vastly more than any RTS game has done before, and on top of that you can upgrade every card to get new abilities and improve them.
The campagin is long and does require more players in some missions, the pvp option is interesting, challenging and fun. Overall this game is a must have for RTS fans, best of all it is free to play online. Give it a go I promise you will have fun.

Fans only, not a good game in my opinion
RTS games should have some kind of balanced units/techs etc. But this game was originated from card game, and you need to buy (use money) cards from EA to have more and more... Read more

Paying for extra cards
Nowhere in the manual or on the case does it say i have to pay real money to get the most out of this game.Its a bit sneaky of Electronic arts to do this.

Enjoyable game but did they forget to mention you have to pay for...
Enjoyable game and addictive. If you want any new cards you will have to pay £16 pounds for an amount of battleforge points that you can spend on buying new cards. Read more
