i am a HUGE fan of the world cup and this game just adds up to the level of excitment of the real thing itself:

Gameplay
dont expect anything different here from fifa 10 most of it is the same apart from some new skills and some very strange celebrations! the only big difference this time round is the penelty shootouts, its allot more realistic with a composure meter with can make you tense as it could decide the game or even the cup!
if you played the euro's 2008 game you would notice that captin your counrty mode has come back which lets you create a player or if you created one on fifa 10 allows you to import it, the biggest down side to this is that if you import your virtual pro from fifa 10 it doesnt take your stats with it so you will have to be starting again! not much of a bummer to me but i can see this annoying some people

presentation
in my opionion i think it looks better than fifa 10, players look allot sharper and eviroments look more realistic and the cut scenes make it like a real match giving you that better atmosphere

sound
new commentators!!! martin tyler and andy gray have me really bored these days so its good to hear from andy townsend and clive tyldesley, the noise from the crowd is allot better and when the stadium is rocking it really makes the matches better

my verdict
if you love fifa but are getting a bit bored of fifa 10 and wouldnt mind something new before fifa 11 comes out then this is for you, if your short of money and are thinking weather or not have a think because even though i love fifa there are allot of good games coming out this may! but 2010 fifa world cup is a great fun and a really enjoyable game. unlike fifa 10 it makes you wanna give everything youve got in every match to make sure you get to that final and lift that trophy and i bet scoring a last minute goal in the final will give you a buzz! anyway hopes this helps people

This game is simply the best football game ever.

Gameplay
The gameplay is very good. For me , players are very lifelike when running. Players who are fast are fast and players who are slow are slow. Also , the ball moves like it really does in proper professional matches.

There are 199 different international teams and they all have their real players. All ten world cup stadiums feature in the game. Unlike fifa 10 you really feel the emotion if you lose a really important match. You can play as a team from the real world cup or you could qualify. You can also choose your own selection of teams to play a world cup if you want to play as your country without qualifying.

If you are thinking about buying this game I highly recommend you to buy it.

i've played FIFA games since the first on the mega drive, world cups of 98,2006 this version had in my opinion good graphics with cut scenes of the managers but I felt it was let down by the gameplay, in this version you have great graphics reallife player likeness with good cut scenes of the managers and of the fans that reflect their mood as to how your playing and a good atmosphere that captures the greatest show on earth, the game plays a bit diffrent from FIFA 10 ie crosses can now be scored from lobs on the goal keeper have been tightened up not so easy to score and new bar gadge system for penaltys that makes it harder to score and has a new two button play system that makes the game more accessible for first time players and still retains the classic controls for the more experienced player.the definitive wold cup game for all football fans of all ages a must have!!!

Realistic
What can I say.. playing the game in a 32inches telly, is like watching a film, quality is outstanding, and the best bits are the faces of the players and the managers. Read more
