This is a clever piece of kit - fitted it to my wife's spider in 3 hours and works really well. The only reason I gave it 4* instead of 5 was that the adhesive on the foil aerial was not brilliant. Even though I cleaned the inside of the bumper so you could eat your dinner off it, it would not stick very well so I put insulating tape over it. I expect I'll have to take the bumper off again to do a more permanent fix (the suggestion is to use windscreen mastic) however that has not put me off giving this a good review.

Before ordering this item I suggest that you visit the company's website (which is excellent) to understand how the system works and then check that the inside of you rear bumper is flat so you will be able to install the antenna. I didn't ! I ordered the product, which came very quickly, and then removed the rear bumper from my Mercedes ML270 only to that the ribbed construction meant there was nowhere to fit the antenna. I spoke to the company and they admitted that they knew of a handful of cars that the product did not suit and agree to give me a refund. Pity really as it looks like a good piece off kit and the company are easy to deal with.

Having fitted the sensor to my wife's car - and it worked - I bought another for my own car! You just have to be sure that you are happy to take the rear bumper off - then you just follow the instructions. Best bit - no drilling of holes in the bumper - and no one else knows that you have the sensor fitted!

Nice and discrete but difficult to get just right.
Ok, I have a Honda FR-V with a towbar which isn't the easiest setup to get one of these working on. In addition to the towbar it has the metal crash bar close behind the bumper. Read more
