This machine is a gem. It looks small, but has powerful suction - I was mortified by the amount in the cylinder after I first went over my carpets. The head is smaller than some, but I found it more convenient for dodging under and around furniture. I was so delighted with it, I ordered a second machine, for my Mum ! Sturdy metal shaft, not one of those flimsy plastic things, large carrying handle, lightweight to carry, with extra large on/off & cable-wind buttons. I really am impressed with the machine.
