I bought this vacuum cleaner solely based on the customer reviews that I read here and they were one hundred percent correct. A powerful little vacuum cleaner that makes sweeping the stairs a doddle. I had a Dirt Devil previously but it died a death, plus I had to buy the bags for it. Now I'm bagless and this Electrolux model makes the Dirt Devil seems like its battery operated equivalent, no contest. Highly recommended for both the home, car and caravan. Thank you Electrolux, you never seem to let me down.

I read loads of reviews about these little cleaners and really wasn't sure which one to go for but I am so impressed with the Electrolux that I just had to write a review myself. I bought it primarly for use in our caravan but since purchasing it we have been using it at home and I think I might have to buy a second one !! We live in a house with 3 floors, so thats lots of stairs and we have 2 pussies, so thats lots of hairs !! When we got the Electrolux I had just vacuumed the stairs with our Dyson 2 days earlier and I was gobsmacked what the Electrolux picked up !! It is so much easier to use on the stairs than the Dyson and I would not say that was difficult but it made vacuuming quicker and I'm all for that. When I had finished using it I emptied the bin bit just by tapping it against the wheelie bin outside and I used a dustpan brush on the filter bit which had attracted the hairs, it really was quite easy. All I can say is I am very pleased with it, it's well worth the money and after my holidays I'll be back for another one.

I purchased my Electrolux vacuum because I wanted a mini vacuum to do the stairs. Although perfectly happy with my big old Dyson for general room cleaning, it's heavy & not good at stairs. (It's nearly fallen on me when doing stairs "from above" & if it's left at the bottom, it fights me as I'm trying to stretch up to do the top steps.)
I read a lot of reviews before choosing the Electolux & I'm really pleased I settled on it. It has the most amazing suction which gets the job done in half the time. It IS a little noisy, but being a hand held, that might just be because you have it closer to your ears!! It's also not the lightest hand held, but it doesn't matter if the job gets done before your wrists get tired. It's very easy to operate & seems compact & sturdy (although I haven't dropped it yet, so only time will tell). You should empty the dust out after each use but it's an easy job, although after tipping out the bulk, I recommend using a rubber glove to "stroke" away the fine dust, rather then bashing the chamber in the bin, as that just sends dust back into the air. The rubber glove takes the dust off a treat without undue mess.
Any little bits that the vacuum can't reach in the crevice of the steps, are easily picked up by the integral hose, which also has an amazing suck & an extra crevice tool hidden in the base.
My only reservation is the cord storage. It wraps around the end of the vacuum but it's a shame that there isn't anything to stop it unravelling.
