This has got to be one of the best pedal buys I've ever made. Tremolo is a simple enough effect, but I was completely surprised at how expressive this pedal was from smooth and gentle classic tremolo to fast and jibbering spinning effects. It has such an organic, musical sound that I quickly found I was using it far more than originally intended (a good thing!).
The controls give you a wide range of speed and depth, and a hard (square wave) / soft (sinusoidal) switch give further options. A bright blue LED lights when the effect is engaged. The construction is rugged enough, but the controls are tiny and inaccessible and with the jack sockets just underneath the controls, everything feels a bit too cramped. This is the only downside to this pedal but still not enough to warrant a four-star rating. Being so well priced means that you could mod this pedal without fear: house the unit in another box or add an LED to indicate the tremolo rate, for instance.
On a pedalboard, it easily rubs shoulders with classic and boutique pedals without looking like a weak link. An amazing pedal at an amazing price. Well done Danelectro!

I love the whole range of Dan Electro products they are great value for money and to quote - "do exactly what it says on the box". At this price there is no risk, so go on - enjoy!
I thought I was just buying a tremolo , for a little bit of old fasioned type effect You get far more with this Baby , the amount of control and different effects you can get are truly amazing. You can move from true tension across contemplation to added magic when using flat 5 major 7th chords,9ths are even better Not to mention those lazy Mississippi sounds and all this at a very good price , oh and true bypass if you want it.Go on buy it and bring your amp to new levels.But be shure to read the little book that comes with this cat so you know how to control it. All in all a very good product
