3.0 out of 5 stars A bit out of date 28 Dec 2004
The copy that I bought (Dec 2004) seemed surprisingly out of date. Within half an hour of browsing, I noticed several points which would have been out of date when the edition was published in 2002. Maybe the May 2005 edition will put a few of these things straight...
I was also hoping for more practical installation advise than is contained in this book. Otherwise, it seems pretty comprehensive.

It is simply written and easy to follow and will guide through the theoretical stages of the course. It proved to be invaluable for part two of the course giving clear explainations of all required subjects. It is the only textbook you will need.

5.0 out of 5 stars 2365 Electrical Installation 9 Oct 2012
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
This book is written in the older style when you learnt the subject and not just covered it. It is an older text book that will probably not reference across to current regulations, but it has an abundance of electrical theory that has lots of worked examples that will definitely help with understanding the maths of an Electrician. If you combine this book with more up to date text books you will be able to glide through the maths of both level 2 and 3 of both the 2365 and 2357 without problem. Considering what you can pick this book up for second hand it's a great book to have.
