From FeelGoodButtGone, the antidepressant-diet-pill popular among "big-boned housewives", to taxidermists hunting penguin-bison hybrids, Cassidy and Byrne serve up a ferociously funny compendium of crazed logic puzzles and crackpot inventions. Funny, offensive, and definitely not politically correct, this book is the perfect antidote to family banality over the holiday season. Explaining the best tactics to cracking their fiendish conundrums, as well as including step-by-step clues and answers to all the logical puzzles inside, the book promises to hone your brain into a finely tuned instrument of unstoppable logic - as long as it doesn't burn you out in the process. Be warned!

Review
"Seldom does an Electric Toilet produce such a breath of fresh air! Engaging conundrums are dressed in laugh-out-loud scenarios."
I got this as I'd run out of things to read with my teenage children.
It is essentially a collection of logic puzzles which need a bit of lateral thinking to figure out (logic rather than maths - there are no questions about trains heading towards each other at varying speeds, fellow maths-phobes will be glad to know). And for each one, there's a nice succinct explanation as to how you can quickly prove each one, some of which are startlingly clever.
It is also strung together by a collection of entertaining characters and stories, and written in a sparkily engaging humourous style. My boys love it and are notably better at figuring them out than me.
A collection of brain teasers ranging from the not too difficult to the mind-bendingly tricky, this book follows the journey of a group of unexpected heroes through their adventure to take down an evil genius and all the challenges along the way. Your job is to solve these logic problems to get to the end of the final showdown and the end of the story. Its hilariously witty and a great book for puzzle lovers and comedy fans alike! A puzzle book with a difference!
I purchased a replacement copy of 'The Electric Toilet Virgin Death Lottery' after my original had been damaged in winter flooding. I had enjoyed the puzzle book so much that I wanted a fresh copy and enjoyed Byrne & Cassidy so much that I purchased another puzzle title by the same two authors. That one was titled 'How to Win @ Russian Roulette...'
I was disappointed to find that I'd bought the same book twice and annoyed that there'd not been any warning, or at least no warning prominent enough for me to see.
