although these tracks are well recorded and arranged, I was disappointed to find that this was a "not original artists" compilation.

First of all, to make it clear, the tracks on this album are NOT by the original artists. However, i still rate this album very highly. The tracks on this album are different enough from the originals to make them worth listening too, i particularily like the cover of 'Magnetic Fields'. There are also a lot of tracks i had never heard before, one in particular is the very beautiful 'Bailero'. I cannot believe the original version of this magical tune could sound any better than the version on this album. It is a track i would happily purchase the whole cd for!
All the songs have a nice, synthy (is that a word?!)feel, so if you like 80s synthesizer music then i think this album is well worth buying.
p.s Disc 2 is the best!

This is absolutely not a CD for any one who prefers the original or seeks for surprise from new interpretation.
