washed up rodeo star and beautiful news hack, meet and have stormy time. Theres a fantastic horse chase, visual images of the horse covered in light bulbs, and some awsome scenery too.
It a moral tale and just good eye candy for the lovely Robert Redford and lovely Jane Fonda.

a dated political corporate satire
this story of a runaway show cowboy and a hardtalking journalist who covers his story about exploitation of animals is trite and too melodramatic ,it has weirdly familiar lines and the fonda -redford romance is very irritating in a serious drama about corporate corruption .

the long sermons do not help and the villains are so black and the hero such a paragon of virtue,neither does all that chasing in the prairies with the sharp nailed journo going mushy with all that jazz and romantic camp fires ,

it does have an interesting premise and the acting is good in patches with some good cinematography but the political message is not of any significance today as it has been done to death .

interesting but rather a mediocre effort for pollack as he is usually much better than this ,it banks too much on the romance between the leads which becomes very distracting .
