Format: Audio CD Verified Purchase
I had this on vinyl years ago and searched for a very long time to replace this on Cd, and I have to say it was well worth the wait! Sometimes when you haven't heard something in a long time, your memory of it can be better than the real thing, this was not one of them. From the opener Strange Way, to the closer Winds Of Change, this is just under 40 minutes of classic country tinged 70's pop. The Eagles were not the only ones who were good at it. Rick Roberts originally from the Flying Burrito Brothers, lead this band to several country pop classics, Strange Way from this album being the biggest one. They had changed their sound slightly on this album, adding flute and saxaphone, but this only enhanced their sound. If you like well written songs, with a country feel, that have you singing along after just a few listens, you'll love this!
