Having gone to hundreds of gigs I started to notice that the buzzing, hissing noise was not going away completely. Real Tinnitus is a horrible, sometimes debilitating condition and I have no intention of developing it. I tried several different types of plugs from tissue paper (desperation at a particularly loud gig), through the foam types and waxy cotton wool. All worked but really affected the quality of listening.
Then I discovered these. Having a flatter frequency response it's more like the entire volume has been turned down. Another benefit I have found is that you suddenly get decent separation of the various instruments and vocals - you can hear the words!
They are relatively comfortable, easy to insert, especially if moistened, and come with a linking cord and handy pouch.

Im in a band with 4 electric guitars, 1 bass, 1 keyboard, 2 drums and a saxophone... it gets pretty loud! I used to go home after practice and have to put the car stereo up 4 points to hear it and had a real headache and we know thats not good. I tried a different set of ear plugs and couldn't hear anything clearly. These earplugs are great because they turn everything down a bit but everything is clear (you don't get a muffled tone at all) so I can hear everyone else in the band clearly but when I go home Ive no headache and the car stereo stays at the same level. BTW communicate mobile are really good too, recommended.

Good product. Helps a lot when you are reading and want to hear what your family members are doing and saying but at much lower noise. I will also try these at work instead of ear plugs (which has to be taken out of the ears each time someone talks to you). Should fit everyone's ears. Comes with handy box which ensures long lasting.

Get the job done on a budget
