Bought this album at their gig in 100 Club Oxford Street London. Used to follow this band religiously in the 1980's and 90's and bought all their albums to date. This band split up and have only begun to record again last year, therefore when I purchased this album, I really did not expect it to measure up to their previous albums. How wrong can a person be, this album is absolutely fantastic - choc-a-bloc full of amazing songs, some funny, some thought provoking and some really melancholy and I literally have not stopped playing it over the past few days. I am someone who has listened to music all my life and used to be involved in booking various bands whilst living in Ireland. I have always believed this band to be one of the best I have ever heard and this album proves that point. Well done guys and lets hope you produce many more albums as excellent as this one. Dennis is definitely still looking after you lot with some fantastic lyrics but the other songs by Chris and Tony are just as strong. Bloody brilliant. !! Rita

Just when we thought that the band's recording career was consigned to their back catalogue of skiffle-rock (and latterly rock), the boy's have turned out a blinder of an album.

They have somehow managed to shoe-horn the essence of the classic Gutter Brothers sound into a very contemporary album. It's not very often that an album comes along that stands up to repeated listens, some albums crash and burn after half a dozen plays - El Krusho is certainly isn't one of those.

From the full-on rock beat of Anyone But Me through to the jazzed-up The Life And Times Of The Almost Perfect Man this album is full of great, catchy tunes that lift the spirit and get toes tapping.

If I can make one recommendation, it is BUY THIS ALBUM!
