Great product, robust and the best £80 I've ever spent I think. Certainly makes short work of the ground
and saves my back! It does tend to throw soil out to the side a lot but if this doesn't matter or you can sweep
up then definitely give it a go!

I can categorically highly recommend this tiller. it has done what I never thought possible. it has outstanding performance on my extremely heavy black, grey and red clay in my garden and between this tiller and perlite ( I buy in 100 litre bags from amazon site at £17.99 a bag extremely cheap compared to very many other sellers). I now have very user friendly soil like bread crumbs.Prior to this I couldn't even put a spade in it as it was like concrete and would bounce back at me - now I enjoy my gardening..you will not regret buying this

I bought this to till over some pretty dense soil in existing flower beds and dig over some overgrown patches of garden that I didnt want to spend hours digging, breaking down with a hoe and raking.

When I first pulled the lever to activate I got quite a fright as it really kicks off the ground as it throws down the full 750watts of power in the the rotating blades.

Our garden can be rocky buy it dealt well with these on the whole.

Main tip is be prepared for the power and move backward dragging it at an angle with the rear guard almost trailing the ground.

hope this helps

I used this on what was a pretty tough test and was pleased with the result.

I had lifted turf to make a new flower-bed and needed to bring the soil to a tilth. My ground is clay and tree roots had gone through the soil - it was broken up with a mattock to remove the worst roots before the tiller was put it action.

Pros

Brings soil to a fine tilth, far better than hand digging
Works OK on even lumpy clay soil, with a couple of passes
Being pulled backwards over tilled soil give a deeper dig
Never jammed on roots or stones
No sign of engine lacking power, but isn't too noisy
Far easier to start and store than a 2-stroke

Cons

No depth bar
Can 'bounce' when it hits a root or heavy clay lump
Quite a spill of soil on either side which needs to be raked back.
It's not for doing 1/4 acre in one go!

Overall I'm pleased with the performance, once the clay soil had been broken up it was easy to spread grit and fertilizer and dig it in with a quick run over.

I bought this electric tiller to save my back. I had previously broken up the heavy ground with a large cultivator (5hp) but it was a bit like trying to wrestle a bear, and although it broke the ground well it couldn't give me a fine tilled soil. The Einhell 750W tiller was easy to use and very light weight. It has a willing little electric motor and will get stuck in, flick up small stones and will dig surprisingly deep. I ran the machine for a good hour with short breaks to clean off the metal spinners, because any tiller will collect soil if the ground is heavy with clay. If you do this it won't overload the motor.
A good buy and easy to use and highly recommended if you want to avoid digging.
