i logged onto amazon to buy this album for a friend of mine and was amazed that nobody else has written a review singing the virtues of these tracks.

this is modern electronic music filtered through the prism of 1970s krautrock and played on vintage synths, so that all the repetition of dance music is not achieved by sampling and looping a sound but played "live" throughout the album. this gives the album an organic feel quite unlike any other modern electronic music that i have heard. i shouldn't forget to mention how good the actual tunes are too.

if my review has failed to convince you (didn't frank zappa say writing about music is like dancing about architecture?) that can i suggest buying the second track on the album as a download, it rocks. if you don't like it then prehaps this album isn't for you (but you will).
