I have both the book and the DVD of Dr Yangs 8 pieces of brocade. I have been doing the exercises for about 2 months now and have noticed considerable benefits. These inlcude, better sleep, better concentration, more energy, more confidence, feeling internally well, removal of aches and pains and an increased sense of well being. One of the great things about this particular set is that there is no great empahsis on breathing techniques, i have tried various chi-kung sets and it the breating aspects of them can cause bad problems if done incorrectly. To get the benefits one has to make a part of your daily life, idealy done everday for at least 20 mins. The book is good, however i would say the DVD is alot better as to watch Mr Yang do the exercieses really clarifies it for you!! BUY IT YOU WONT REGRET IT!!!
