Great stuff from the 80's 18 April 2006
By Adam Kaplan goodguy - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
I read this book for the first time in the mid 1980's, and have reread it several times since. It's a gently humorous and poignant tale of a gay black singer named Johnny Ray Russeau and his search for love and fame in 80's Los Angeles. Mr. Duplechan is a heartfelt and insightful writer and his characters feel very real. One of my very favorites and I recommend it highly.
