Everybody is going on about Tiger Woods this and that. We don't need all that serious about golf rubbish. Computer games arn't simulations, they are supposed to be fun, and this little beauty does exactly what it says on the box. It's Ace (a word I havn't used since school). Everything about it is fun. Yes, I'm bias cos I play golf, but I have also been playing computer golf games for 20 years now and this one is crisp. There are power ups, mini games, varied levels of skill, great courses, helpful caddies, a brilliant control system, not to mention stunning graphics. I thought we'd met our match in fun games when Everybody's Golf came out, but this takes the biscuit. Now, can we stop all this realistic slow football games and make em fast and frantic like Soccer 97, Kick off and Sensible Soccer... Manybe, I'm just getting old!!!

One of my favourite Gamecube games. I bought this on a whim, knowing nothing about its quality.. I just thought it might be nice to try something different.
There may not be any well known franchise characters or mouthwatering graphics - but this game makes up for it in relaxing atmosphere and truly engrossing, addictive play.
Get a group of mates around to your house, and you might find as we did that we were still playing against each other at three in the morning..

Shame on the publisher for not promoting this fantastic game, which seems to have 'crept onto the shelves'. It might seem like typical Nintendo 'cute' but it has fantastic depth and an unlock system that rewards the player for continual improvement. Play it amongst friends after the pub or alone for hours of compelling and relaxing gameplay.
Of course, in real life golf is rubbish, but this is GameCube golf and is a prerequisite title for any GameCube owner.
