Karl Wallinger and his World Party were one of the best things happening in music in the late-eighties. After the well-deserved fuss made over Private Revolution and Goodbye Jumbo, and the chart success of the rather patchy follow-up 'Bang!', this their fourth record seems to have been unfairly-ignored, save for 'She's the One' which Guy Chambers pinched, backing band 'n all, for Robbie Williams. Rest assured that this record contains songs of the same quality; it's delight to come back to it after all these years.
