I used this book as part of a unit study for my Kindergarten daughter.

The book is written with one letter on each page and a brief paragraph. For example:

"P is for pyramids. Ancient Egyptians built giant pyramids as burial places for their rulers, called pharaohs. The pyramids were built with huge stone blocks. The most famous pyramids are the Great Pyramids of Giza (GEE-za), just west of Cairo."

Other letters are a little disappointing. U, X, Y, and Z are "U is for sUn god; X is for eXports; Y is for aYsh; and Z is for Al-AZhar.

The very last few pages have an art project, some basic words in Egyptian Arabic, Fast Facts about Egypt, and Fun facts.

All in all it was a good book that gave additional details to our unit study.
