What a little gem this is! A delightful well illustrated story that the child will love, and the parent will want to hold onto as a keep sake for sure.
Can't wait to read about what this duo get up to next, but what came first, egg? or bird? Can you answer this for me Miss Higlett?

I've read this book and it is a real hoot. The author obviously has a real talent and, judging by the splendid pictures, a real personality too. (you can tell a lot about a person from their illustrations)
Speaking as a fully grown adult, i found the book more entertaining than a face full of pies and funnier than a frail old lady slipping on some recently purchased ice. I'm sure 'the kids' will love this strange and compelling book too, and their mummies and daddies will take immense pleasure from reading it to them at bedtime.

I hope the author has a real success story on her hands with 'Egg and Bird' and maybe we can hear more in the future.
