Format:Paperback
For anyone embarking on research whether for a dissertation, thesis or company project, this book is invaluable.
It starts, helpfully, at the beginning of the research journey and assumes that the reader has little or no knowledge of the art of research. While at times the information may seem overkill and irrelevant, for the most part it builds to create a solid base for the researcher.
As a doctoral researcher I have found this text enlightening and vastly informative and it has helped me structure my research. I also teach in Higher Education and as such, use this text to aid dissertation students in their research.
Despite the 1999 (actually 2000) publication date, this text is as relevant today (2008) as it was when first published and I thoroughly recommend it.
