Bought these for our 9 year old to visit Silverstone Le Mans Series race. The ear plugs we used before at other races were tedious to take in and out, and were not as effective.
These defenders are great, a bit tight initially but they stay on really well and he had them on for hours without problem. They cut out the louder sounds, but you can still hold a conversation when it is quieter without removing them.
They fold in tighter than most ear defenders and are light - so easy to keep in a rucksack pouch where they are to hand.

I bought these for my 9 year old god-daughter when she came along to one of Lemon Whiplash's gigs. She loved them so much she wanted to keep them on all night..they look great, were dead comfy, kept her hearing safe and a complete bargain. What more do you want?
These were bought for my three year old who likes to help Daddy when he is cutting the grass on a ride on lawnmower but complains that it is too noisy! It is now "quiet" enough that the same little chap fell asleep sitting on his daddy's lap. Great purchase for little peoples ears, no bother to get him to wear them as they are very comfortable even for little heads. Childrens ears are more sensitive to noise than ours so a great purchase even if you aren't going to a festival!!!
