Well my son is Autistic and needed something that would reduce the amount of noise he was getting and this did not work at all because he was still crying and holding his ears while he had them on. But i am sure they would work if they were just for someone who was just worried about hurting his ears.

Great for small children, easy to carry around, blocks out a good amount of noise. Would recommend these from the age of three.
Used these for my one year old at an air show and they were perfect! He kept them on the whole time. They are the ideal size for children (they fit my 4 year old too) and fold up compact. Would definately recommend them.
