The Edwin Jagger imitation ebony best badger handmade English shaving brush is a fabulous Edwin Jagger shaving brush created in Sheffield, England. The brush combines cutting edge technology and traditional craftsman skills and uses selected polyester material for the brush body. All Edwin Jagger shaving brushes are hand-filled with excellent quality best badger hair. Best badger hair is an excellent quality brush for those wet shavers who use a hard shaving soap, prefer a firmer sensation during lathering or those with coarser beard hair. Badger hair is chosen because the ability of the individual hairs to absorb hot water during the shave ensures a very effective lathering performance for your daily shave with either shaving cream or shaving soap. Each comes packaged with a matching plastic drip stand as we always recommend that, after daily use, shaving brushes are thoroughly rinsed in warm water and hung to dry. This brush is accompanied by care instructions to ensure longevity.

Bought one of these after searching around for a badger bristle brush for my dad's birthday, found out he was using an ancient badger brush and thought even they wear out after a while.
This has gone down a treat, I'm reliably informed it lathers up brilliantly and the drip stand is really useful for correct storage.
So, in summary, decent price, genuine badger bristle, good looks, practical stand and good performance, may buy one of these for myself.

This is a great little brush and although you can buy cheaper brushes it worth paying a little bit extra forthe quality of this product. This is only the third brush that I have used in my lifetime. The first one, bought from John Lewis lasted over twenty years until it wore out. The second one, bought from Boots, and the only model they now stock, lasted about three months before the bristles started falling out. Got my money back. This Edwin Jagger brush was about twice as expensive but you can feel that it is a much better quality brush. Good soft real badger hair bristles enhance the whole daily shaving experience. If you like that sort of thing of course - and I do!

Bristles stay in place
