The first reaction is absolutely 'Is that it?' In price terms it works out as around £3 a piece which is incredibly expensive. Although you know the number of pieces you're buying you are not shown a corresponding photo with that exact amount so it's quite hard to tell until you see it how much you're actually getting in volume terms. I would agree that you need at least the 50 piece set to feel like something can be made and it's not worth getting the smaller set. I'm sure the kids will like it but it's way too expensive for what it is.

All of the children in our setting love these giant 'Lego' bricks, whether they are the tinies at pre-school or the older ones who come to our out of school clubs. Fantastic toy.

Great Item All 3 of my boys love these aged 1, 3 & 7
They have constructed a whole variety of things with their imaginations and great for the youngest to come along and knock down!
