Upon hearing this CD you can almost feel the excitement of being at the Hogmany festival in Edinburgh. Its highly intense rhythms and upbeat lyrics will make you want to hit the repeat button on your CD player multiple times. A great CD to have in your Celtic music collection, as it adds a new variation to old favourite Scottish songs. It is especially great to have this CD around New Years Eve as the rendition of Auld Lang Syne is particularly festive.

Hogmany in hannover 1 Jan 2005
Format:Audio CD
I am a Scots woman who is living in Germany for a couple of years.I always get a bit wistful at Hogmanay as I love it and think that Scotland is the best place in the world to celebrate it. Nothing beats a good ceildh up north. I got this CD for Christmas and played it non stop over Hogmanay 2004 in Hannover. Our German neighbours loved it and I just want to play it again and again and again.
