I have always been a great fan of E.R.Burroughs. In 1967,my dad gifted the
first Tarzan comic. It was illustrated by Russ Manning and published by Goldkey. I was immediately hooked. I started collecting all kinds of 'Tarzan' memoralgia, viz. novels, strips from newspapers(Russ Manning and other artists)Collectors editions from Goldkey etc..But Russ Manning was always special. His illustrations bring the 'Original E.R.Burroughs' Tarzan back to life.He did a set of Original Book adaptations of Tarzan. Have to be seen to be believed. This(Land that Time Forgot) is his own creation(he has done many). 100% faithful to E.R.B. He also did a long strip for Newspaper. I paid Rs.20,000/= (about $500/= US) for the entire strip collection from a seller in New Delhi in India. If you are a True Tarzan Fan, then don't think twice before ordering this book. Shobha.

Absolutely stunning. An excellent reproduction of this masterpiece that has only been available this far on average quality paper and barely acceptable printings in Europe. This is a perfectly reproduced version with crisp clear colors and lines and clear whie background. If you like Manning's work it can't get much better than this. The only setback is that it could have been oversize as the old European versions.

HASH(0x9e53f9a8) out of 5 stars This is the finest Tarzan graphic novel ever. 16 Jun. 1998

With beautiful Russ Manning art, an exotic prehistoric setting, and a non-stop action plot that never slows down, Tarzan in the Land that Time Forgot is one of the best Tarzan comics ever. Edgar Rice Burroughs never took Tarzan to Caspak, but if he had, the results might have been a lot like this story. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and recommend it to anyone who likes adventure.

Great book! Tarzan remains one of my favorite fictional characters and Edgar Rice Burroughs is my favorite action/adventure writer. When you couple this with the extraordinarily beautiful artwork and incredible visual storytelling ability of Russ Manning you get an irresistably compelling, engaging, and entertaining work of art!
I strongly reccommend this and all other Russ Manning works (particularly Tarzan and Magnus,Robot Fighter.)
