Excellent coverage of the IGCSE specification with differentiated exercises for those aiming for C/B and A/A*. Despite what another reviewer says the book does come with a CD-Rom, which includes answers to all odd-numbered questions.Complete answers to all questions are available as a PDF on the Edexcel website.

Amazon Verified Purchase
With both my daughter and son being home-schooled over the past few years, I have used many IGCSE publications, but I have found these publications to be the most helpful and comprehensive. They cover the latest specification(from 2009) and are pleasing to use with their bright, modern style.
There are plenty of practice exercises, with exercises aimed at A/A* students clearly marked with a star*. There are also a selection of more difficult questions (marked in blue) that more able students may enjoy the challenge of solving.
The only drawback is that you have to buy the two books (Student Book 1 and Student Book 2) which can be a little costly, but at least you do not have to waste money buying any further study tools.
Each book does come with a CD-Rom (attached on the inside back cover)and the answers to all the question can be accessed via Edexcel's website by selecting 'resources'.
Unfortunately, some of the answers given are incorrect - the most common error being that the answers are mixed up and out of order - for example, the answer given to a question may be the answer to an alternative question in that exercise instead.
Furthermore,it would be beneficial to students if the method of solving more complex questions was also given. Students gain nothing from being told the answer to questions they cannot solve. I realise this would mean a much longer answer booklet, but well worth it for the student.

I could not trace any answers to the many excercises and drills, therefore does not appear to of much help to me for self study purposes.
The CD is not readily included in the book, you have to register online and keep waiting to receive it from the publisher.
