This book is intended to help the reader prepare for the core maths exam. It comes with a CD-ROM is case you get stuck on some of the questions - the CD-ROM sets out the solution/answer (in a "Solutionbank"). The book recognises that constant practice at answering questions embeds the relevant principles or formulae in the reader's (or doer's) mind and gets the reader to think in the right way, so to speak. Some of the questions require little more than a straightforward application of relevant formulae; but as you progress through the questions, they become harder - you have to think about the information you are given and adapt relevant data to an appropriate formula. The book is well-structured, concise and clear.

A very useful book which covers the C2 topics in some detail. This book contains easy-to-follow explanations and plenty of worked examples. There are answers to all questions and a useful Index in addition to Contents list.
