Bought this for cooking a large turkey for xmas, used it in the oven on a trial run on a chicken, works a treat, you will never get food poisoning again with this gem, easy to read display, withstands the hottest temperatures, ive had it on 275 on fan assisted and its fine. A absolute godsend.

Good quality item that does what it is supposed to, dishwasher safe and accurate - tested it on boiling water and it went from 20c to 99c in a few seconds. Read more

too big for chicken?

this looks to be a decent quality but i've sent it back - even though it's described for poultry, i think it's too big for a chicken, it would be more than half sticking out. Read more
