Time your kitchen tasks with style and accuracy. The Eddingtons retro timer will time anything up to 60 minutes. Simply twist the face of the timer all the way round to 60 minutes and then back to the desired time setting (this action winds the timer in a clockwork fashion to give a longer ring), when your time is up the timer will ring to notify you. Storage on any steel surface is easy with the strong built in magnet.

This is a good piece of kit. It looks good with a nice deep red metal surround with chrome effect around the clock face. It's nice to the touch, metal as opposed to plastic, it's loud enough and it's idiot proof to use ie. my husband can work it. Very happy with this purchase.

The most important thing to remember about this is that you have to turn the timer clockwise all the way to 55-minutes to wind it up, then turn it anti-clockwise back down to the time you actually want to use. Then it will ring without fail.

This is a great looking timer for the kitchen.
I would have given it 5 starts if it wasn't for:
1. The dial is a thin piece of card (that you can't get to) and I've got a very thin strand of plastic or something between it and the front screen. This got on my nerves at first but I've learned to ignore it (it's hardly noticable except for people like me!).
2. The silver ring around the dial came off, but I glued it back on.
I've still given this 4 stars because its still looks good and it works, maybe 3.5 stars would have been more in tune.
One of the reviewer complained that it didn't work, not sure if they had tried but in order to get buzz, you need to rotate it all the way round once, and then back to the time you want to set it to, otherwise the buzzer isn't set. Caught me out too!

This is an unreliable piece of kit. Sometimes it stops for no apparent reason, sometimes its hopelessly innacurate, I don't need a duff timer to help me to burn food! Read more

Excellent timer
There's not much to say besides this is an excellent item. It's sturdy, works perfectly & looks great on the fridge.
